This clown wants to ban radar detectors in the county that I live in.
As far as I`m concerned, that`s fascist activity. The Federal
government says that I`m allowed to RECEIVE any kind of "signal" I want
with the only exception being secure military radio traffic. If this
stupid bill is passed here it could be the start of a nationwide ban. I
urge you guys to write as many letters as possible to this idiot and the
rest of the idiots that are sure to line up behind him. Here`s a link
to the article. When you read it, it will become obvious that this bozo
is clueless. There is plenty of data to support the fact that people
who use radar detectors have LESS accidents than the average driver.
This dolt is just shooting from the hip making up facts that don`t exist.

if the real point was to slow traffic, detectors should
be issued to everybody. Ya know how easy it is
to trip one? Stick a cheapie transmitter by the road,
and eveyone would slow down. `course, no fines
would be collected.
