I know, my spell checker quit and left the state when I tried to reply, so I

just deleted it, he wouldn`t recognize his post with the words spelled

correct anyhow. We need this to get back to Corvettes, but then he thinks I

spend to much time on them and not the news. Go figure, why would I be

spending to much time on Corvettes in a Corvette news group????

OK, It`s definitely a malfunctioning diverter valve. I disconnected and

plugged the AIR lines at the check valves and took it for a ride. Not a

peep...or should I say "pop". I checked the usual suspects and I don`t

see a rebuilding kit for the valve. I don`t even see a replacement

valve for 68. Anybody got an idea? Anybody fix one of these?
