I`m very pleased with the parts I installed. :-)
The Mid America Custom Valved Shocks - They
are very good, not too harsh and give a very tight feel!!
I highly recommend them. The whole car is more responsive.
The new Ceramic Brake pads took care of the front brake caliper
rattling. The rivets that hold the cups to the pads were loose, allowing
the calipers to rattle terribly. This also makes the car feel more solid.
The upper door weather strips (Mid America Brand) I had to get
two set sent. The clips on the first set literally crumbled off...
The second set went on OK. This tightened up the windows!
Also making the car much tighter. No more window rattles
or ugly cracked strips.
G2 Brake Caliper 2 Part Epoxy. I redid the calipers and rotor hats
and hardware. You really have to work fast of it set`s up.. But
it sure keeps it`s gloss after curing. I also recommend the G2 brand
Epoxy. We will see how long it lasts, but now it looks fantastic.
The engine parts really woke up the bottom end. You can actually
feel the difference. I just wants to go!!! :-)
K&N Open Top Lid & Aircleaner
MAT Sensor relocator kit
Throttle Body Airfoil
I bypassed the Coolant in the Throttle Body myself with Heater Hose
Bypass Caps (rubber caps clamped on). Mid America`s kit was mislabeled
i.e. 1994 - 2004 LS-1. errrr there is no LS-1 in a `94 Vette LOL It
wouldn`t
fit....
The Ripper Shifter really shortened the throw! And I love the Classic
White Hurst Knob!!! Especially with the black interior and white body..
Plus I dyed the inner fender wells again.
Dyed the spare tire cover again.
Painted the Mufflers and tips satin black again.
Polished the stainless exhaust pipes behind mufflers again.
Took all the wheels off and polished them inside and out, just like new.
And a couple real good coats of the new Eagle 1 Nano Wax, nice stuff.
Wheww... glad it`s done :-)
I ordered the New Stayfast Cloth/Glass Window convertible top today..

LOL Wha???? ;-) hehehehe
Time: It only took me 2 weeks to get that stuff done... HAHAHAHA!!!
I just worked a couple hours in the evenings and on Saturdays..
Sundays are for Formula 1 and NASCAR damnit :-)
Money: It`s been paid for since 1999. YAY! HAHAHAHA
And it`s truly been a great car, I haven`t really spent any money
on it till recently. Starting earlier this spring with the U joints,
wheelbearings, tires, new balljoints/tie rods and 4 wheel alignment/speed
balancing, and now this final stuff. :-)
But my master plan of keeping it till 2008 and getting a
Demo/NewlyUsed C6, I wanted to bring it back into
great shape. It truly took at least 5 years off of it.
It`s nice and tight, not rattles what so ever and very, very
responsive and has never accelerated better.
Oh yea, I forgot the Royal Purple Synthetic Tranny Fluid.
I also recommend this. The tranny was never what could be called
noisy, but it`s dead quiet now. And it seems slicker, but that could be
because the shifter was done at the same time.

Last "Cars" Post on Wordpress: Title: Futuristic Japanese Cars (2007 Motor Show) Date: Sat, 26 Sep 2009 12:12:14 +0000 Author: shayannie
At the Tokyo Motor Show last october 2007, they presented cool designs, high tech car parts, and bizarre concept cars .

One of the cars presented here is the Nissan’s “Pivo 2″ that is an electric car with a revolving cabin that can park the car sideways. Nissan “Pivo 2″ has a robotic agent that can read facial expressions. And what’s amazing hear is they can calm down the driver if they were feeling upset.

Another car presented here is Honda’s “Puyo.” It is a car covered with soft silicone to avoid harming the driver or pedestrians during a crash.

A new prototype for a new van was unveiled by Nissan which is called “NV-200.” On the other hand, Suzuki showed the electric “sharing coach” which contains two individual “Pixy” transportation units. More on: http://shayannie.wordpress.com/2009/09/26/futuristic-japanese-cars-2007-motor-show/

Title: Yubo's Juzu brings good luck Date: Sat, 26 Sep 2009 00:13:39 +0000 Author: jdmsteve
For those who arent familiar with Mr.Yubo, hes a D1 driver fully sponsored by the infamous WELD. His demeanor is a super friendly and energetic character, but once you get in the car with him he means all business. Nightwalkers is the name of his race team, as they are notoriously known to be one of the top crews in the Yokohama region. Ive had several opportunities to hang out with him and go to the local touges in Japan a few years back.
He straps in, greets you with his friendly smile, blasts his super euro trance mix to get his adrenaline pumping and just tosses the car sideways in a two lane mountain road. His drifting skills were acquired in the local mountains, not at the race track like most of the competitive drifters these days.
His blog can be seen here: yubo-yokohama
While he is in competition he mostly relies on his skill but the rest is up to his good luck charm. A “Yuzu” bracelet is blessed by Buddhist priests and brings safety and good luck to each who wears it around their wrist. It started as a religious necessity in the past, but in modern times in the land of the rising sun, it is often seen as the latest fashion trend.
Interesting trend! www.x7x-yubo.com
